The human body is a complex system. One function disorder may cause simultaneous system disorders. Acne breakouts are really annoying, and their appearance of acne is not as a result of age. It may be difficult to find out what causes acne on cheeks without performing diagnosis.
An acne blemish begins approximately 2-3 weeks before it appears on your skin surface. Sometimes it may feel like you are getting a pimple overnight, but in actual sense, you are seeing it in the final stage of a much longer process.
Acne starts from your sebaceous hair follicles – the tiny holes you know as pores. Deep within each follicle, the sebaceous glands work to produce sebum – the oil responsible for keeping the skin pliable and moist. During the skin renewal process, the old cells die, mix with your skin’s natural oils and are sloughed off. Under normal conditions, these cells are shed gradually to make room for fresh new skin.
Acne Cause and Multiplication Effect on Cheeks
So what are the leading causes of acne? Why do they multiply to grow in numbers on cheeks? Acne are caused mainly by overproduction of oil and blocked hair follicles that don’t allow oil to leave pores, resulting in clogged pores.
If you are experiencing breakouts in a particular area of your face – and specifically cheeks, there might be an imbalance in your liver or lungs. There are certain things you might be doing that result in such imbalances. Avoiding them may restore these imbalances and prevent outbreaks.
Here are things that might be causing constant outbreak and growth of acne on cheeks.
Alcohol, especially binge drinking has a high likelihood of causing an imbalance in the liver. It is important that you exercise moderation in your alcohol consumption. It doesn’t mean that you completely stop the intake, but too much of alcohol is not necessary, as liver balance is critical.
You would probably be amazed by how much bacteria are on your smartphone. Your smartphone is like a bug magnet that collects a lot of germs from all over. If you put a germ-laden phone against your cheeks, there is a high possibility of transfer of acne bacteria all over your cheeks
Pillows can quickly become spreading grounds for germs. Pillow should be washed on a regular basis. People with acne should try pillows that are designed for delicate skin types. These cases are from fabrics made of bamboo and infused with several essential oils such as tea tree, wintergreen or lavender.
Hormones are the leading cause of acne. For the majority of acne, the trouble begins at puberty, when the human body starts to produce androgens hormones. These hormones cause enlargement of sebaceous glands.
When sebaceous glands get stimulated by androgens, it produces extra sebum. Its grows towards the surface. These sebum mixes with common skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been lining on the follicle. The excess sebum in the skin follicle raises the chances of clogging – and this is what causes acne. Other cause of acne includes follicle fallout, bacteria, inflammation and dental hygiene.
